Minsk talks largely unproductive

Макроэкономика 26.12.2014 In the first day of talks in Minsk on the ceasefire that was agreed to in September but was largely disregarded until very recently, a prisoner swap agreement was met yesterday. Although talks will continue, we doubt they will be successful. Pro-Kremlin militants backed by Russia have been trying to establish their own rule in occupied territories. Their aim at the talks has been to deny or renounce the previous agreement reached in Minsk back in September.
