Обзоры рынка 24.07.2012 The local Ukrainian Exchange index narrowly beat out the Athens Stock Exchange to become the worst performer in the EMEA region yesterday, according to Bloomberg. The UX fell 7.1%, extending its consecutive sessions in the red to five, as globally equities were hit by Euro-area concern Greece would default and more Spanish regions would seek a bailout. All 10 local blue chips closed down over the session. Two posted double-digit losses: Avdiivka Coke (AVDK UK) -11.9% and Donbasenergo (DOEN UK) -10.0%. The WIG-Ukraine index in Warsaw was also down, but at -2.0% it was more in line other Central European indices. The worst performers there were Westa (WES PW) -7.3% and Kernel (KER PW) -3.1%.
