Market comment

Обзоры рынка 12.04.2013 Ukrainian equities were subdued on the Thursday, April 11 trading session. In Warsaw, the WIG Ukraine Index rose 0.4%, pulled up by shares of grain trader Kernel (KER PW +1.5%) after it reported it will increase its land bank by 34% though an acquisition. Shares of mining firm Sadovaya (SGR PW -15.7%) hit their all-time low, plummeting 45.4% this year. In London, Regal Petroleum (RPT LN) improved 3.4%. Shares of poultry producer MHP (MHPC LI +1.0%) and egg producer Avangard (AVGR LI +0.6%) improved their win streaks to four sessions at gains of 6.3% and 7.1%, respectively. Shares of mining firm Ferrexpo (FXPO LN +0.5%) have improved 24.6% in three sessions, though they are down 23.1% this year. In Kyiv, the Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index was unchanged. The biggest mover was shares of oil producer Ukrnafta (UNAF UK -2.1%), which hit their lowest price in almost four years.
