Fitch upgrades Ukreximbank Eurobonds to CCC

Обзор облигаций 12.08.2015 Fitch Ratings has upgraded the rating of Ukreximbank Eurobonds (EXIMUK) to “CCC” from “C” following the completion of their restructuring, according to an Aug. 11 report. The upgrade reflects reduced refinancing risks since the restructuring's successful completion, which “resulted in a significant lengthening of the external debt maturity profile”, Fitch reported. With the latest upgrade, the Eurobonds of Ukreximbank have a higher rating than Ukraine sovereign notes (UKRAIN, “CC” by Fitch), which have yet to be restructured. The bank’s rating is currently on par with the highest ones among Ukrainian issuers, Ferrexpo (FXPOLN) and MHP (MHPSA). Alexander Paraschiy: The agency’s move was expected given the bank’s successful debt operation. The same upgrade is expected for the notes of State Savings Bank of Ukraine (OSCHAD), whose restructuring has been already approved by bondholders.
